Melissa Mahan is a strong and compelling anchor, whose warm and personable style seems to jump off the screen.  In her current role as one of the anchors of WFXT’s morning newscasts, she quite simply knows how to reach the audience.  Day in and Day out, the station counts on her to not only deliver the news, but to report for many of the other broadcasts.  

During her 11 years on the anchor desk, Melissa has proven over and over again that she can attract an audience and help improve ratings.  As the morning anchor for KOAT in Albuquerque, she helped lead a significant increase in ratings in just three short months.  Whatever assignment she has had, she has attacked it was passion and dedication.  

As her current agreement with WFXT comes up, we have begun searching for new opportunities for her.  The sale of her station has also made it important that we explore new opportunities for her.
