As many of you know, we are adding 25,000 square feet to our Madison Georgia facility. This is necessary to create additional production capacity and more adaptability in preparation for the September 30, 2019 DOE mandated phase out of all equipment that operates at AHR90.1 rated efficiency less than 11 EER and 3.3 COP. This is a very big undertaking, both with engineering resources committed to adapting our entire product line as well as the physical construction and equipment upgrades required. We’ve been diligently working on this for over two years and are now ready to begin the physical construction addition to our Madison Georgia facility.
As a part of the building expansion, by May 1st we are required to transfer our Madison finished goods inventory and shipping logistics to a new location for the near future. During this transitional period, you will likely experience a 2-5 business delay in standard shipping times,
Our goal is to have NEXUS reflect accurate dates over the next three weeks, but please make provisions for possible delays. We realize how important it is for you to be able to communicate accurate delivery expectations to your customers and we will do everything possible to keep consistent and accurate delivery dates available to you. In addition, plan on adding 2-5 business days to reports that you may receive. Contact your customer service representative if you have any questions regarding a specific order with critical shipping requirements.
