Bard Nexus Distributor System – May 1, 2018
As the phone traffic continues to increase at Bard, this is a reminder that many of the Bard Distributor Network inquiries can be handled on-line through the Bard Nexus Distributor Access System. The Bard Nexus System is available 24/7/365 with no waiting.
Bard Distributors and Distributor Personnel will be required to set-up a profile to access the system and no access sharing is permitted.
- USER ID and PASSWORD are selected by the user and must be personal to user.
- Cannot contain Distributor or Bard related information or request to access will go on security hold.
- User will need their Bard Distributor Customer Number to complete submission.
- Distributor Corporate domain email address is required.
iSeries Nexus Inquiry Options: Each will pull information directly from the Bard mainframe in real time.
- Product List Price Inquiry:
- Displays current and/or last maintained list price.
- Displays Equipment or Service Parts Multiplier to calculate buy price.
- Displays Replacement Item Number where applicable
- Service Parts Availability:
- Displays availability of service parts in Bryan facility.
- Displays current and/or last maintained list price.
- Displays Equipment or Service Parts Multiplier to calculate buy price.
- Displays Replacement Item Number where applicable
- Service Parts By Model Inquiry:
- Uses Complete Model Number Input.
- Display or Export to Excel all BOM components flagged ‘service part’.
- Displays replacement part numbers where available.
- Literature By Model Inquiry:
- Uses Complete Model Number Input.
- Displays last maintained 2100 Install/User Manuals, 2110 Parts Manuals, 7960 Supplemental Information, Wiring Diagrams, etc.
- Pdf hyperlink to each document.
- Shipping Weight Inquiry:
- Input will allow up to 25 different line items at a time and option of an Excel export.
- Returns estimated shipping weight, shipping dimensions, Equivalent Shipping Units (E.U.), National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC number); Freight Shipping Classification, and Product Description.
- Customer Order Inquiry Status:
- Three display options:
- Open Orders
- Shipped Orders
- Open & Shipped Orders less than 45 days
- All columns are formatted with sort on the header information.
- Will provide Ship Via, Tracking/Pro Number, and Freight Amount when being billed by Bard.
- Bard Billed UPS Charges – available AM following shipment.
- Bard Billed LTL Charges – usually available 2-3 days after delivery has been completed.
- Warranty Finder by Serial Number:
- Serial Number Input.
- Displays Unit Model Number, Shipping Date, Registration Date, Warranty Status.
- If registered, selling Distributor will see installing dealer/contractor and end user.

Equipment or service parts orders are processed by the Bard Customer Service Department. For the fastest response or order processing, purchase orders and communication should directed to your inside Bard Customer Service Rep via their e-mail address or the Customer Service Fax line 419.636.6692. If your inside customer service rep is not available, their e-mail and voice messages are handled by other department personnel during their absence.
