On behalf of the Anti-Caste Legislation Committee (ACLC), a large grouping of community organisations and individuals which has been working to end the law on caste discrimination, I wish to send you the link to our new report,  The British Law on Caste (please click on this link). 

As you will note the report has something to say about the manner in which parliamentarians, as well as HMG, the GEO, and the EHRC have handled the caste issue. It also provides recommendations moving forward. You may also read the report in part as a response to the GEO’s draft Caste Guidance of May 2019 that the GEO has shared with ACLC.

We look forward to hearing your response. Unfortunately, as the report is simultaneously going out to stakeholders we will not be able to incorporate your feedback at this stage.
