Hadron® SR is a self release coating system comprised of a thermal spray carrier bonded to the roll surface with self release coating carried on the surface and in the pores of the thermal spray coating. Thus, Hadron SR is unaffected by wear of the carrier surface or mechanical damage due to tools or knives during use. Hadron SR is superior to fluorinated hydrocarbons and silicones in its resistance to ink, dirt and adhesive pick-up and transfer over time. In addition, Hadron SR is applied in a manner such that the substrate to which Hadron SR is applied is never subjected to a temperature above 150° F, thereby minimizing any heat related distortion to the substrate being coated.
